A comprehensive main menu is offered, that on first sight seems expensive. Although there is also a pizza offering at regular prices. In addition there is fixed price lunchtime "light bite" menu, that although limited choice is good quality and excellent value. Surroundings and service is good. There is a good drinks choice on offer. The pub is open all day and is convenient stopping place off the A449 between Kidderminster and Kinver.
Lovely atmospheric pub with nice and friendly service. The burgers could do with being somewhat more juicy, but the portions were generous and there was good variety.Will probably be returning for drinks and (why not) try the pizzas
Very very disappointing Kept waiting for nearly an hour even though we had booked My husband used the Mens toilets in bar area which were absolutely disgusting and really should have been cleaned or closed off.When eventually seated our Food order was taken but not put through correctly !Half hearted apology after we had to enquire what had gone wrong Amateur staff not able to deal with problems properly when paying premium prices
My food was just warm in places(microwaved unevenly?). Not very tasty. We had to wait about half hour for a second drink after ordering. Had much better elsewhere.
Good food and attractive room. Efficient service and partitioned area for our party of 11. Slightly over priced for lunchtime. 26 for one course and a glass of wine.
