Great place to walk the dog
Well out the way of the riff raff, dog walking on a different level, there is farms and fields all around this place which adds to the experience.There is many variety of birds and wildlife to be found here along with an absolute abundance of insects and plants, its one of those places you can walk the dogs in any type of weather and still see something different each time you look, the parking can be a tad hit and miss at times because of the shortage of spaces.It is a managed area by the wildlife trust, who have spent time making paths and felling the odd tree from time to time, its definitely worth a drive to, even if you dont have a dog coz, if people never had dogs they would never speak to each other.There is also many people who use the woods for a spot of early morning jogging and or speed walking which does not bother my dogs at all, but some other dogs tend to want to chase the wanna be fell runners and some get frightened by the runners, so just beware if you are out walking the dogs that you have control of them
Always a pleasure to walk in Bunkers with our dogs from one to four and all off their leads chatting and greeting other dogs along the way. Pity we cannot do this in Uffmoor where dogs get exercised only on a lead. Exercise rubbish how can you exercise dogs in that way.Great in Bunkers though
